Ibiza, Spain Best for: Die-hard party-goers Undeniably the hottest celebrity destination this year, the Balearic island of Ibiza hosted the likes of Madonna, Kate Moss, Justin Bieber, Will Smith, Zac Efron, Paul McCartney, Leonardo diCaprio; basically anyone who is anyone spent some time on its hallowed beaches. Famed for its hip-till-it-hurts party scene, Ibiza is renowned for having some of the best nightclubs in the world. Why visit in the fall From September to the first week of October, Ibiza Closing Parties are held almost daily all across the island to, well, close summer. Expect parties in nightclubs, on beaches and yachts, and just about anywhere there is a big enough space, with headliners like Armin Van Buuren, David Guetta and Steve Aoki rousing the merrymaking masses with night after night of electrifying beats. 2. The Hamptons in Long Island, New York Best for: Those who yearn for a slice of the high-life pie Owning a home in the Hamptons is a sign of affluence and success; a status symbol to show that one has joined the upper echelons of society.
